Wally Brando's speech

As we know in the book, the Lewis & Clark expedition is extremely important to the history of the town. Lewis met the natives and they told him about the ring, the lodge, and how to reach it.
I don't know if it's just a funny fact or something important to the story, but Wally's speech mentions it, which I find very very curious.
My family, my friends, I have crisscross this great land of ours countless times. I hold to map of it here in my heart. Next to the joyful memories of the carefree days I spent as a young boy here at you're beautiful town of Twin Peaks. FROM ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA TO STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA, I THINK ABOUT LEWIS AND HIS FRIEND CLARK. THE FIRST CAUCASIANS TO SEE THIS PART OF THE WORLD. Their footsteps have been the highway and byways of my days on the road. My shadow is always with me...

I really hope we get more Wally Brando. As well as a lot more of his mama! She's always been a doll.
